Ask Ann: Best Brown Girl Foundation

Hey, Guys!

I know it’s been awhile; needed some time away to refresh, we all need that every now and then right… (Smiling).

Hoping you guys had an amazing Spring and getting ready to kick off a great & exciting summer I don’t know about you guys but I am most certainly looking forward to laying on the beach, eating barbecue, enjoying friends and family.

So let’s get into today’s blog, I am so thrilled and excited to share with Y’all that I will be changing things up a bit and introducing you guys to a new series called #AskAnn.

In this series, we will be discussing everything from beauty, life, food recipes, and of course fashion nothing is off limits. To kick it off today we will be talking about: what are some of the best foundations for Women with Darker Skin Complexion. {Keep in mind that this post is not sponsored, everything that will be discussed & displayed will be derived from my personal experiences} with that being said let’s get started.

My first Foundation of Choice

#EmergencyofChoice

Related image Yes, ladies, there’s truly nothing better than a good old full coverage drugstore foundation for half the price!!! So yes my first pick is none other than the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte. If you are a Beauty/YouTube guru like myself than you are certainly familiar with this foundation; it has been raved about for quite some time now and {Laaaadies} it never fails ♥. I honestly love this foundation because of the way it feels as I apply it on my skin, being that it is Matte finish it does not leave my skin ashy and dull it’s just an all around great product and let’s not forget the unbeatable Retail price. If you are looking for a more affordable option; Ladies I highly recommend this product. (If & when you try it please don’t forget to leave me a comment and share your takes on it).

Second Foundation of Choice

#True&Faithful

Other than the hype that is surrounding this brand I actually fell in love with this product; it is creamy and easy to apply with a foundation brush, beauty blender, and of course the good old fingertips!!!

If I am completely honest with you guys, at first I was a bit skeptical because I have oily skin and I was afraid that this foundation would be a big fail and I would look like a grease ball {LOL} but surprisingly it wasn’t well {I WASN’T} to say the very least, I guess it was a win because I have been loving it ever since it has truly been a staple.

THIRD & LAST FOUNDATION OF CHOICE

#NaturallyEffortless

The first time I was introduced to this brand was around the time my skin was acting out I had an acne and rash flare that wouldn’t go away. I remember around this time I couldn’t use any of the foundation I had on hand so long story short…. I went to the mall in search for a more sensitive foundation that would work for my skin hoping to avoid any form of irritation/ discomfort while waiting for my skin to heal. That’s when I was introduced to Bare minerals and we have not parted ways since. (Very important Ladies If you are suffering from Acne or any form of skin rash this product is a great option that you might want to consider because it caters to women with sensitive skin)

I love this product, probably a little bit more than my MAC NW47. It’s so light! {I am in the shade W40 golden dark} When I’m feeling like I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup but need to put on a little something for coverage, this is my go to.

Wanna chat? You can fill out the contact form, or leave a comment below; I’d love to hear from you.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by the blog! I love you guys!

Xoxo Ann
